First off, check this piece out about conflicts around the proposed live action Voltron film. Not being a big Voltron fan I'm not really interested in the film but I am surprised to see that Voltron is a lot like Robotech in that they used two different anime to create a series. But unlike Robotech/Macross Toei still has pull. The owners of Macross can't do anything about a live-action Robotech film since Harmony Gold controls it here in the states. Which is really, really weird. Though, I guess, while Macross was the centerpiece anime there were two others while Go Lion from Toei was the centerpiece with bits from a second anime.
Also, boooo! to a remake of the awesome film the Host.
