Or does most of all the big comic book announcements and planned events seem rather dull?
Oh well, Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest is out in a few days. Plus I've discovered the awesome that is Naoki Urasawa. Monster and 20th Century Boys. Good times! If some money gets loose from various planned purchases and savings I'll actually buy Essential Avengers volume 7 and the upcoming Stumptown.

I think they have become so dull because there are just too many of them. It is not enough of an "event" anymore.
