Books-March 2010

Tempest Rising by Nicole Peeler-Fantasy novel about Jane True, an outcast in her hometown of Rockabill who discovers her lineage as a half breed Selkie. Its a an amusing fantasy novel with vampires and talking baghasts. I liked it. Not all super about it though. I will read the next book because I genuinely find Jane to be a cool character.

Yakuza Moon: memoirs of a Gangsters Daughter by Shoko Tendo-Fast paced biography of Shoko Tendo. The daughter of a Yakuza boos, former yanki, and speed addict. You watch her deal with life, reform school, and several abusive relationships. Its is sad and such an enthralling read.

I also tried Philip K. Dicks Confession of a Crap Artist but couldn't get into it. Don't care for thecharacters.
