Female Pro-Wrestling

Right now, amongst the top pro-wrestling feds, TNA has the better roster. It helps they have one of my loves from WCW and one of the top international performers.

Ayako Hamada
Second generation pro-wrestler, daughter of Gran Hamada and younger sister to Xochitl Hamada. Ayako has wrestled mainly in Japan and Mexico but is one of the top female wrestlers in the world. She's been wrestling in TNA as well as Shimmer indy women's fed and Jersey pro Wrestling. First saw her on a tape I bought for Arison pro on chance and enjoyed her. Watched more of her online.

Daffney
The scream queen of WCW, Daffney had a loyal fan base as the goth beauty of the company. She was released right before the company was bought out and has been moving along the indy scene for years under different alias' like Lucy Fur, the Govenor(base don Sarah Palin) and Shark Girl. Back as Daffney on the indy's and in TNA. I like goth chicks...

Long Beach Post Office

Two packages head to my house this week have suffered MISSENT tags due to someone(s) messing up. Both times at the Long Beach post office. Interestingly enough that this one was sent to Paramount, CA rather than Artesia, CA like my DVD that arrived yesterday. I guess the estimated time of arrival is April 3rd so its not late yet. Still, LBC better get on that.

Books-March 2010

Tempest Rising by Nicole Peeler-Fantasy novel about Jane True, an outcast in her hometown of Rockabill who discovers her lineage as a half breed Selkie. Its a an amusing fantasy novel with vampires and talking baghasts. I liked it. Not all super about it though. I will read the next book because I genuinely find Jane to be a cool character.

Yakuza Moon: memoirs of a Gangsters Daughter by Shoko Tendo-Fast paced biography of Shoko Tendo. The daughter of a Yakuza boos, former yanki, and speed addict. You watch her deal with life, reform school, and several abusive relationships. Its is sad and such an enthralling read.

I also tried Philip K. Dicks Confession of a Crap Artist but couldn't get into it. Don't care for thecharacters.
